Notifications: never miss a customer
Email, browser & mobile push, and Telegram alerts — how each channel works and how to fix delivery problems.
Zedinga can reach you on three independent channels. Configure all of them in Settings → Notifications.
Per-type toggles (handoff alerts, lead alerts, daily digest, unanswered-questions alert). Email notifications are included on paid plans.
If we can't deliver to your address (it bounces or marks us as spam), a red banner appears in your dashboard and notification emails pause. Fix your mailbox, click Send verification email in the banner, and delivery — and the banner — reset automatically when it arrives.
Browser & mobile push
Browser and mobile push notifications are part of the Growth plan and above. Enable push in Settings → Notifications for each browser you use — alerts then arrive even while the dashboard tab is closed.
On your phone: open zedinga.ai in your mobile browser and use Add to Home Screen — Zedinga installs as an app, which is what makes push notifications work on iOS and keeps them reliable on Android. Then enable notifications from the installed app once.
Telegram
The most reliable way to reach your phone — independent of both email and push. Telegram alerts are part of the Growth plan and above. Two ways to connect in Settings → Notifications:
- Private chat — click Connect (private chat), press Start, done. Alerts come to you personally.
- Team group — click Connect a group, pick (or create) a Telegram group with your teammates, and the bot joins it. Every alert lands in the group — teammates don't need Zedinga accounts.
One chat per Zedinga account: connecting a group replaces your private connection (and vice versa). Send /stop in the chat anytime to disconnect (any group member can do this).
Per-bot groups: each bot's Settings tab has its own "Telegram group for this bot" card — connect a bot to its team's group and that bot's alerts (leads, handoffs, visitor messages) go to the group instead of personal chats. Perfect when different bots have different teams.
For teams
Handoff alerts go to everyone who can handle the conversation — the bot's owner and accepted team members — each through their own enabled channels.
